Amalia Dutch Crown Princess Escapes with Drug Baron Ridouan Taghi

Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands and Ridouan Tadghi

In the palace of The Hague, a Moroccan shadow upset the tranquility of the royal family and made Crown Princess Amalia flee. Similar to a thriller full of suspense, where intrigues, threats, and secrets intertwine, revelations have sparked an uproar of reactions on the web revealing the complexity of geopolitical issues: the Dutch drug baron of Moroccan origin, Ridouan Taghi, pushes the crown princess to flee to Spain.

One of the world’s most dangerous criminals, Taghi explored the white worlds of cocaine to become the feared baron of the criminal organization nicknamed “ Angels of Death .” Being the subject of an endless quest by the Dutch police, the drug lord of Moroccan origin has spread terror throughout the population, even within the royal family where Taghi’s threat has taken on a personal dimension.

It all started when information circulated, evoking intercepted communications. These disclosures mentioned Princess Amalia and Prime Minister Mark Rutte as potential targets, triggering abduction fears and casting Taghi’s menacing shadow over the Dutch crown.

According to public media NOS, citing royal sources, the 20-year-old princess, who lived and studied in Madrid for more than a year where she had fled in October 2022, was terrified of these criminal projects.

Giving up her life as a student at the University of Amsterdam, where she studied politics, psychology, law and economics, she took refuge in Madrid. This abrupt change plunged the court into an atmosphere of concern and danger.

According to local media, Amalia’s decision to seek refuge in Spain was a shocking twist in her life as a young princess. She had to give up her dreams of independence and life as a student in Amsterdam to submit to heightened security measures, restricting her freedom of movement and isolating her from the outside world. Her mother, Queen Maxima, testifying to the pain of this situation, said: “ She cannot live in Amsterdam, she cannot leave the palace and this has serious consequences on her life ”.

This context of terror required enhanced and undisclosed security measures that finally allowed Amalia to partially return to a normal life. Returning to the Netherlands and settled in Amsterdam, Amalia was able to perform an official function for the first time during the two-day state visit by the Spanish royal family.

Recall that the baron of Moroccan origin was sentenced last February to life for a series of murders committed between 2015 and 2017. In a trial called “Marengo ” that lasted several years, Ridouan Taghi was eventually sentenced to life in prison.

Taghi and his co-defendants were on trial for six murders and four attempted murders. Sixteen other suspects were sentenced to sentences ranging from nine months to life in prison. Two of them were sentenced to life in prison, Saïd R. and Mario R. To a well-stocked file is added the upheaval of the life of a princess, Taghi may well not see the sun anymore.
